RTE has produced a tutorial to help you:

Creating a user account

On the account creation form, you need to enter a few pieces of data, such as the following in particular: email address, last name, first name, title and language.

  • The owner of this account will then be able to make changes to this information (except the email address, which serves as the account's unique identifier) in the "My profile" menu.
  • For reasons of confidentiality, we suggest that you use a work email address.

For each account created, you can choose:

  • to link this account to one or several of your companies
  • to assign the "administrator" or "user" role to this account for your companies
  • to nominate this account as being "internal" or "external" to your companies

If you assign the "administrator" role to an account, the user will have the same management rights as you for the company in question.

Nominating this account as "internal" or "external" for each of your companies is informative, so that you can easily identify the accounts of external service providers, for example

After the form is approved, users will receive an account activation request by email. This email is valid for 30 days.

Resending an account activation request

If a user fails to validate the account activation email request within 30 days, you have the option of generating a new email request by clicking on the icon to the right of the "activation pending" status for the user account in question.

Unlinking an account from a user

You can unlink an account from your companies by clicking on the “Modify" link to the right of the user role, and then unchecking the relevant boxes:

  • The user no longer has access to the services of your companies for which the "Link" box is no longer checked.
  • The account remains active (with access to the download and favourites features for public data, as well as the private data of companies to which it is still linked).

Linking a user account

You can link an account to your companies:

  • If the account is already linked to at least one of your companies: by clicking on the “Modify" link to the right of the user role, and then checking the relevant boxes
  • If the account is not already linked to at least one of your companies: by clicking on the “Add a user" button, then checking the relevant boxes. If the account already exists, the account information (last name, first name, language) will be displayed automatically
  • The user has access to the services of your companies for which the "Link" box is checked.
