For the delivery year 2026, yearly auction on France-Spain border will be split into two separate auctions.

Following the request from both CRE and CNMC, RTE and RE are for organising next month of September an anticipated yearly auction for the France-Spain interconnection with application to 2026.

Official specifications for the anticipated 2026 yearly auction will be formally published in due date in SAP dedicated site Anticipated 2026 yearly auction for FR-ES interconnection | JAO S.A. Leading service provider for TSOs

Another yearly auction for 2026 will be celebrated in December as usual.
