Description of service

The service allows any duly authorised user to consult, for each Connection Point, the pre-calculated tariff optimisations over previous periods for the extraction component. This service can be used to compare the financial impact on the extraction component between current tariff over the previous period and a future tariff.

Once a company, an establishment and a Connection Point have been selected, the available tariff optimisation periods are displayed. A message appears if no tariff optimisation is available for the selected Connection Point.

Viewing the selected tariff optimisation shows:

• In a first section an overview of the selected filters, together with the Tariff Version and the set of Subscribed Powers optimised for the study period considered for tariff optimisation. If a change in Subscribed Powers has been made over the previous 12 months (as of the date that the study was generated), the next subscription date is given beyond a period of 12 months, and therefore beyond which the Subscribed Power movements are free. It is still possible to implement Subscribed Power movements before that date, provided that the request is in compliance with the rules for amending Subscribed Powers set forth in the CART (public transmission network access contract).
• In a second section, a table showing, for the extraction component, a reminder of the amount invoiced over the period, the estimated amount with the next tariff (with the Tariff Version and the set of optimised Subscribed Powers) and the variation between these 2 amounts. If the site is concerned by the rate reduction scheme applicable to sites that consume a large amount of power, the rate reduction applicable to the Connection Point shall be displayed (this rate is not factored into the cost estimate).

General information

The rate optimisations provided by this service are only those made on previous extractions and related to changes impacting all customers (such as a new tariff or a new tariff index). Price optimisations specifically implemented on demand are not accessible via this service. Furthermore, these studies are conducted solely on the extraction component and do not include the other tariff components (fixed, variable, CTA) charged.

The set of Subscribed Powers and the Tariff Version proposed in these studies are an aid to decision-making. It is advisable to consult the various studies for each Connection Point. It is up to the user to decide whether the load profile studied is an accurate reflection of an activity and a sustainable situation before requesting an amendment.

Under the TURPE 6, customers will be able to change Tariff Version without having to give 12-months’ notice with the previous change: once when the TURPE 6 comes into force, and then once between 1 August and 30 November during one of the years that the TURPE 6 is in force. The Subscribed Power log is kept and the amendment rules provided for in the CART shall apply.
