Description of service
The incident notification service notifies you, by email and/or text message, when an incident on the transmission system may have caused a disturbance in the voltage wave feeding your site. These notifications concern:
- Outages;
- Voltage dips, only for customers who have subscribed to the Q+ service.
This notification, defined per site, is sent out when an incident affects a transmission system line that has already caused an outage or a voltage dip at your site. Notification periods (days of the week, time windows) are defined via user preferences.
Notifications are sent out within minutes of an incident.
Please note
Notifications are triggered on the basis of the history of incidents on transmission system lines that have already caused a disturbance in your site's power supply. Therefore, some notifications may be sent out even though your site is not actually affected, due to a different system diagram, for instance. Similarly, it is possible that notification will not be sent when a structure is affected by a malfunction for the first time.
Managing preferences
As a user, you may manage your preferences for your notifications relating to each sitefrom the “My services” tab:
- Activation / Deactivation of notifications
- Selection of days and time windows for receiving notifications
Please note
These preferences apply only to your user account.
